Excerpts Collection of Erich Fromm

The term “excerpt” is used here to refer to handwritten notes, remarks, and annotations that Erich Fromm made while reading other authors – either on index cards, a sheet of paper, in the margins of the text, or on the last pages of a book. The collection also contains typed quotations from what he read and descriptions that others (assistants) made for him. The originals are in the Erich Fromm Institute in Tübingen.
