
At the Erich Fromm Institute Tuebingen the following collections are accessible (while their bibliographical data is available via the Document server):
- all published Writings by Erich Fromm in all known translations and editions (from some 4,000, in total, some 1,300 titles at present are available)
- some 800 Excerpts by Fromm, and another Drafts (100), Typescripts (320) and Proofs (40) referring to publications by Fromm
- a small collection of unpublished Writings by Erich Fromm (60 papers)
- from all known Writings about Erich Fromm (ca. 6,800) approximately 5,500 are available
- Fromm’s reference library, which he handed down to Rainer Funk (ca. 3,500 books, journals and collective volumes, with some 15,000 single titles in total, including some 1,200 offprints, xeroxcopies and typescripts)
- audio and video tapes or files by, with and about Erich Fromm
- replications of the Fromm collection at the New York Public Library (cf. the New York Public Library Inventory and the Inventory by Rainer Funk)
- a selection of photos and documents concerning Fromm’s life and work
- the publications of the International Erich Fromm Society (ca. 750 single titles)
- a documentation of events and publications organized by the International Erich Fromm Society
